This April, our team attended the Montana Conference on Homelessness here in beautiful Helena. The conference was packed full of speakers from the statewide Continuum of Care board, local service providers, HUD, and more.

The event was originally expected to attract around 60 attendees, but the final registration was much closer to 150, making it a big success.

During the conference, our team spent time listening to speakers and experts from across the state and country to learn more about the complexities of housing insecurity and homelessness. The event even featured a panel on youth housing and homelessness, highlighting the need for services that address the needs of youth across the state.

Thanks to this event, we have a better idea of all the efforts being made to reduce and end homelessness in Montana, and we found a lot of resources and connections who can help us make bigger change possible in our own corner of the state. We are looking forward to using all the valuable knowledge gained to make big strides toward making homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring in the greater Helena area!
