Montanans who need help can call 2-1-1 from any phone or visit Montana211 online to access a thorough database of resources and programs to connect them with assistance they may need in difficult times.

This year, our team has updated nearly 350 listings in Broadwater, Jefferson, and Lewis and Clark Counties to ensure the information is relevant and useful. After the updates were completed, we asked our partners and community members to help us test the website in several hack-a-thons that presented scenarios where 2-1-1 could be used to find local resources. The hack-a-thons are designed to test the function of the 2-1-1 system, ensure resources are easy to find, and check how user-friendly the site is.

Participants gave us great feedback and helped us identify a number of adjustments that will help improve 2-1-1, and we look forward to completing them to make the call center and website better resources for all Montanans!
